Japan has always been a place where you could find a lot of unimaginably things. One of them is the Kori no Suizokukan (氷の水族館) or Frozen Aquarium. Located in Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, Kori no Suizokukan features around 450 specimens of around 80 species of marine wildlife
displayed in ice cubes and bathed in blue light, all captured at a
nearby sea port.
Visitors can only spend a few minutes inside, because temperatures inside the aquarium reach -20° Celsius, a warm clothing is needed to keep people from becoming freezing exhibits themselves. Without these warm clothing, visitors would start feeling severe pains in just five minutes time.
